Php

In simple terms, PHP is a web language without real servers. It has been around in the industry for over 25 years and tends to evolve strong opinions within the developer's team today. Whenever a new programming language or new tool comes out, you'll always find discussions on whether PHP is "dead or not". PHP indeed fell from #5 in 2017 to #8 in 2020, according to the annual Stack Overflow Developer Survey. Thus, PHP continues to be taken into continuous use by more than half of all websites, including some major platforms like WordPress and Facebook. PHP is also known as a general-purpose scripting language that is generally used to develop dynamic and interactive websites. It was one of the first server-side languages that could be embedded in HTML, hence making it easier to add functionality to web pages without calling external files to retrieve data. Its use has evolved over the years, adding new features and opening up new possibilities through regular updates; version 8.0 was released in November 2020.
